seem convienent, & maybe my kid is just weird, but he hates it. starts screaming soon as he goes in, & it digs at my neck. I much prefer snugglis.
well I’m not a parent yet but with my nieces i used them and they were very help full and nice
but good luck
I didn’t use one only because I didn’t know about them. It would have been so much easier if I had one.
Most babies seem to dislike them. I saw a lot of them at garage sales marked “used only a couple of times”. That seems like a clue. I wouldn’t put a lot of money into it, but it did seem like a comfy idea.
I used a upright baby carrier (Bjorn baby carrier) when my daughter (now 3) was a baby. My son was 2 at the time and the thought of pushing a double buggy horrified me (difficult enough getting around with a single pram!) My daughter spent a large portion of her day being carried around in the sling. She slept like a dream, never had a problem with wind/colic, and having ‘hands free’ was such a benefit. As soon as she was big enough she was able to face the world, at a height advantage that babies didn’t have when they are lay in their pram for hours, she faced forwards in the carrier. When my daughter outgrew the carrier when she was about 18 months we invested in a Babasling and she either sat on my hip or my back, and as she was rather petite for her age she could still take advantage of the sleeping position on days out (come in really useful travelling on aeroplanes when tots need a nap)
